Unexpected Biomass Accumulation with multiple detritus groups

Reported by: saachis Owned by: jeroens

Description

Ecopath may sometimes add biomass accumulation for a detritus groups if some of it flows to another detritus group. The 'ghost BA' appearance is not consistent, but when I save the model this BA value stays.

Detritus > detritus flows are translated to Biomass Accumulation by Ecopath, that is correct. The bug was that this BA change was applied to the very input data that the user entered, making it stick if the user were to save the model after running Ecopath. That was definitly not good.

The reason this appearance seemed 'random' is that a group input change was needed to cause the UI to refresh and reveal the new addition.

We've fixed this by separating the input BA data from the BA data that Ecopath actually operates on, as we do for other input values that Ecopath can estimate. The BA additions are now only applied to internal calculations, and will no longer modify the original model input data.

We've moved the display of estimated BA values to Ecopath > Output > Basic Estimates (from Ecopath > Output > Key Indices)
