Downloading the Source from CVS

This article describes how one would download the sources.

Get the code

  1. Install TortoiseSVN (Version 1.6.5 preferred)
  2. Create a folder Ecopath_dev/<project_name>. The project name is either 'Ecopath6' or 'Ecopath5' as listed below.
  3. Right click on the <project_name> and select SVN Checkout
  4. Choose one of the URLs corresponding to the <project_name> and enter it in URL of Repository:

Ecopath6: http://sources.ecopath.org/svn/Ecopath/trunk/Ecopath6

Ecopath5: http://sources.ecopath.org/svn/Ecopath/trunk/Ecopath5

Click OK and enter your username and password

A WinCVS alternative to SVN would be RapidSVN A Visual Studio Integration to SVN would be ankhsvn.
